National Comorbidity Guidelines Train-the-Trainer Day: registrations open

12 Mar. 2020

The Comorbidity Guidelines will be running a Train-the-Trainer day this year, registration are open.

The training is based on the Australian Government Department of Health-funded National Comorbidity Guidelines (Guidelines on the management of co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health conditions in alcohol and other drug treatment settings), and has been developed by researchers from the University of Sydney’s Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, in collaboration with 360edge.

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, participants will become certified to deliver the National Comorbidity Guidelines Face-to-Face Training Program, and provide evidence-based training for alcohol and other drug workers, which will improve their capacity to manage co-occurring mental disorders.

Our initial class of trainers will be limited to 40 people. Registrations open 12 March 2020.

AADANT encourages workers in the sector to consider this training.
