The training is Youth Focused Trauma Informed Alcohol and Other Drugs Practice.

The training is for everyone working with young people. The training will support an understanding of young people’s substance use, the overlay of trauma and how to have conversations with young people. Free resources including Drug Information Cards, an assessment tool and a model of change will be provided to all participants.

• Developing an understanding of Drugs and Drug Classes
• Neurobiology of complex trauma
• Trauma and regulation
• Harm minimisation
• AoD intervention skills

It is being held in ALICE SPRINGS – 21st August – 9am-4pm .At the Australian Childhood Foundation office -2/15 Leichhardt Terrace, Alice Springs

This training is free to all, and funded under an NTPHN grant
