Free Infection Control Training for NT Businesses

PLEASE NOTE: There is no date set for this training and your organisation must liaise with RTOs to determine training dates.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, new skill sets on infection control have been developed. The skill sets have been designed to upskill workers on preventing transmission and ensuring a safe workplace for staff and customers across the retail, food handling, and transport and logistics sectors.  

A Partnership Agreement exists between the Commonwealth and Northern Territory Government that will see nine (9) local Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) deliver the free infection control training to participants across the Territory.

Northern Territory businesses can nominate one participant, who is responsible for keeping the workplace safe, to undertake one of the skill sets. Registered Training Organisations  The following RTO’s will deliver the infection control training across the Northern Territory:

9. Central Australian Remote Health Development Services (CARHDS) 

Northern Territory businesses can nominate one participant, who is responsible for keeping the workplace safe, to undertake one of the following skill sets:
