The Salvation Army
The Sunrise Centre, operated by The Salvation Army, is an integrated service providing both alcohol and other drugs (AOD) residential rehabilitation and crisis accommodation. The service includes a 25-bed AOD residential program and a 30-bed crisis accommodation facility, supporting people experiencing homelessness and substance use challenges. Sunrise offers a safe and inclusive environment with access to multidisciplinary supports, including a psychologist and a dedicated Aboriginal AOD Case Manager. Support is person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally safe, aligned with The Salvation Army Model of Care, with a focus on stabilisation, recovery, and pathways into longer-term housing.
