Local Drug Action Team Program - Round opening soon

The Local Drug Action Team Program is part of the Australian Government’s investment under the National Ice Action Strategy.

Through the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, the LDAT Program supports organisations to build or extend local partnerships and develop evidence-based activities to prevent AOD-related harms where it matters the most - at the grass-roots, community level.

Partnerships can include local government, community groups, business associations, police, schools, local primary health networks, as well as other interested not-for-profit organisations.

There are 238 active Local Drug Action Teams having an impact around Australia, this includes 5 LDATs across the Northern Territory. A further 40 LDATs will be established through this new application round nationally.

You’ll find a range of additional information and support resources for interested organisations on the ADF’s Community Hub website: https://community.adf.org.au/

Please take a look around to familiarise yourself with our updated site, and share this exciting opportunity across the Territory. When the application round officially opens next month I will share some promotional materials with you also, which I do hope you will be able to share through your networks.
