Dr Thileepan Naren

A/Prof Thileepan Naren is an Addiction Medicine Specialist and General Practitioner working at Western Health and cohealth. He provides clinical services at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (Victoria's largest prison for women), the Hamilton Centre (the statewide service for people with mental illness and substance use), and Health Works, a primary care service for people who use drugs. In 2023, he led the formation of the National Prison Addiction Medicine Network, which develops consensus guidelines for the management of addiction in custodial settings.
