National Reporting of Treatment Outcomes AODTS NMDS Focus Group

4 Feb. 2019
Red 9 Building Training room, Menzies School of Health research, room 1.45

AIHW has been commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Health to investigate national reporting of treatment outcomes in the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services National Minimum Dataset (AODTS NMDS). As part of this work, AIHW would like to consult with the AOD sector to gain an overall understanding of the current and future landscape, and ensure that any recommendations regarding the development of a national suite of outcomes data in the future are informed by the measures, systems and infrastructure already in place.

Engagement with the sector will be through multiple communication methods; including face to face, online and written submission.

The half day face to face focus group for the Northern Territory is planned for 1:00pm-4:00pm on Monday February 4th 2019.

To be held at the Red 9 Building Training room, Menzies School of Health research, room 1.45 at the Casuarina campus of Charles Darwin University.

The AIHW is looking to consult with a wide variety of participants including clinicians/clinical staff, service managers, data managers, as well as consumer advocacy groups, researchers, peak body representatives and relevant government representatives. Please feel free to forward this invitation to the relevant staff in your organisation, keeping in mind numbers will be limited. In this circumstance, written submissions will be made available to those who are unable to attend.

Please see the invitation paper for further details by clicking here.

Please RSVP to by Monday January 28th 2019.
