AADANT Drug and Alcohol Conference 2022: Fundamentally Strong

5 Apr. 2022 to 6 Apr. 2022
Darwin Convention Centre

The Association of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies NT are pleased to announce we will hold our annual Northern Territory drug and alcohol conference April 5-6 in Darwin at the Darwin Convention Centre. This year's theme is Fundamentally Strong.

This year's keynote speaker is Professor Dan Lubman AM, Executive Clinical Director, Turning Point and Professor of Addiction Studies and Services, Monash University.

As part of the theme, delegates will go on a journey exploring the underlying causes of drug and alcohol dependence, how to reflect on their own practice, skills and tips to improving their own practice, and many more. This conference will give delegates the time to reflect on their own journey through the NT AOD sector and shape their understanding of how to grow their practice and careers.

For the first time, AADANT is offering early bird rates to members and non-members which will be valid from Thursday 11 November to Wednesday 29 December. These are the most discounted rates AADANT has ever offered and will be available for six weeks only.

Also returning will be the NT AOD Awards night on 5th April at Wharf One Food and Wine at the Darwin Waterfront. You can nominate your colleagues for awards here, and purchase tickets to the awards night through conference registration.

Want to have a static display?

During the two-day conference, there will be an opportunity for organisations to bring banners, pamphlets, posters, and information about their services and programs to sit on tables in a dedicated room. This provides an opportunity for information sharing and networking. If you would like to host a static display, please contact to sign up.
