Remote Youth Workers Register

Central Australia Youth Link Up Service (CAYLUS) is looking for expressions of interest from people with the right set of skills who are willing to be employed short-term to:

  • travel to Alice Springs to go into quarantine (potentially supervised and arranged by government)
  • live in a remote community for 3 months or more working as a part of the local youth program during the COVID 19 pandemic
  • work across a range of service areas (such as aged care, food security etc) in a remote community as COVID 19 impacts the workforce and community.

This is very new, the rules keep changing so will it require a highly adaptive person.  We are just seeking expressions of interest as a starting point. We may share the information you provide with youth service providers in the region. CAYLUS would cover travel and quarantine costs and pay you for your time.
