Interested in working or volunteering in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Sector?

Are you studying, working part time, retired or just have some spare time?  Would you like to contribute and support the wellbeing of people who are experiencing AOD issues?

The Central Australian Aboriginal Alcohol Programmes Unit (CAAAPU) is seeking interested people who would like to work or volunteer to support our important service.

We are looking to build a bank of people who can provide backfill when staff are unavailable. We are also seeking volunteers/workers who might want to explore AOD work as a career or to enhance their knowledge, qualifications and experience.

This is an excellent way to experience AOD work in a residential setting and provide a starting point to a meaningful career in the AOD sector.

CAAAPU will provide a comprehensive orientation and support to those who are accepted.

Applicants will be required to undergo a criminal history check and obtain a working with children card before being offered any work or volunteer positions.

CAAAPU will hold information sessions to further clarify the roles and opportunities available for those who are interested in working in this exciting and rewarding sector.
