Family Support Worker, CAAPS

The Family Support Worker will work together with families to keep children safely in the home.

  • You will help keep children connected to family, culture and community while helping parents and caregivers build their skills for healthy relationships, learning, and safe environments for children to grow.
  • You will use case management tools to support families to achieve their goals and those  identified by Territory Families
  •  You will work to strengthen the families’ access to specialised services and connection to community.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within the past 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
