AOD Administration Officer - Kalano

Kalano Community Association is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person for the following vacancy in the Alcohol & Other Drugs Services Team.  
Brief Summary of role: 

The Administration Officer is the face of the front office and is responsible for ensuring an effective, efficient and high-quality administrative service. The Administration Officer is responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks including, answering phones, client files and engagement, visitation management, minute-taking for meetings, and general assistance for case managers and AOD Manager. 
 
This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in Administration with opportunities for training and professional development.  

Salary and Conditions: 

Annual salary - $59,000 – $67,000 
6 Weeks Annual Leave – 2 Weeks Sick Leave – 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave – 1 RDO per Month 

Hours of work: 

37.5 hrs per week – 7.5 hours per day
Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

Selection Criteria:

• Local Aboriginal Community and cultural knowledge, as well as experience working with Indigenous people
• Competent use of Information Technology, including software such as Work, Excel and Outlook
• Good time-management, and organisational skills
• Previous Administration experience and qualifications is desirable, but not essential
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, staff and stakeholders
• Current NT drivers licence, Ochre Card and willingness to undertake a National Police check.
• Covid-19 Vaccinated
