Alcohol and Other Drug Case Manager

Kalano Community Association is seeking suitably experienced persons for work as an Alcohol and Other Drugs Case Manager in our Venndale Rehabilitation Centre - Katherine, NT.

All selection criteria below must be addressed in your application or cover letter to be considered:

  • Sound understanding of the AOD rehabilitation and Harm Minimisation Principles
  • Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of appropriate AOD treatment programs to Indigenous clients
  • Demonstrated understanding of working in an Indigenous organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team as well as unsupervised when required
  • Working knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the AOD industry
  • Demonstrated report writing skills including ability to give sound advice to program and clinical managers
  • Good computer skills with an ability to quickly learn new online systems
  • Working knowledge of equal employment opportunities, work health safety, and human resource principles and practices
  • Appropriate qualifications in AOD or ability to acquire
  • Necessary licences including current criminal history check and ochre card
