Cameron Francis

Cameron Francis has more than 25 years’ experience working in the alcohol and other drugs sector, with a strong focus on youth, harm reduction, and system-level practice. He has been closely involved in policy and sector advocacy relating to the introduction of drug checking in Queensland and has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Loop Australia since 2021.

Prior to this role, Cameron led a statewide specialist service providing secondary consultation, training, and workforce support for complex youth alcohol and other drug presentations, including responses to inhalant use in remote communities and work with highly vulnerable young people in statutory systems.
