AADANT is pleased to announce a training partnership with South Australian AOD Peak Body SANDAS. SANDAS will deliver an introductory workshop to NT AOD non-government staff regarding comorbid conditions in the AOD sector.

Sam Raven of SANDAS has delivered similar workshops to staff across South Australia to introduce comorbid presentations to staff working in direct service delivery capacities. Sam will cover the below topics in the one-day workshop:

• Brief overview of substances which may be used by clients presenting to your services
• Brief overview of mental health conditions
• Tips for working with clients presenting with comorbid conditions
• Introduction to the principles of the national comorbidity guidelines

Attendees need to come with an understanding of AOD knowledge, this is a workshop specifically designed for the NT AOD sector.

This workshop is funded through the NT PHN and there is no cost to attend.
